Parade Details

The annual Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade will be held on Saturday evening, December 13th.

The Saturday evening parade will run between 6 and 8 P.M. Traditional fireworks that annually noted the beginning of the boat parade will be shot off the south jetty of the marina at 5:55 P.M.

The theme for this year's boat parade is:

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

The parade boats will circle the Marina main channel several times.   As in previous years, the parade boats will be judged on Saturday evening.

The entry fee for the boat parade is $25 for individual and family boats. There is also a "two for one" deal where past participants' entry fees will be waived when they bring in a boater who hasn't entered the boat parade before!  Commercial entries will have a higher fee.

Area businesses interested in supporting the boat parade at a minimum of $1,250 are being provided street banners that you will see throughout the Marina. An Admiral sponsorship - the highest lever of sponsorship - includes the opportunity to ride on a boat in the parade that will feature the name of the Admiral sponsor.

Mark your calendars now!  Gather together your family, friends, co-workers and everyone you know .... and enjoy a great holiday "fun" filled evening that will kick off the rest of your holiday season.

Also remember that "any" size boat
is accepted so find a boat and be in the parade!!!
Charters are also still available ... a great idea for a unique office or private holiday party!
